Deck & Card Distribution

Sets & Sequences

How a Round Works

Every round of Rummy follows a steady rhythm. When it's your turn, you do two things — draw a card, then discard one.

Draw a Card

On your turn, you can draw a card from one of two places: the top card from the Closed Deck, or the top card from the Open Deck — one discarded by another player.

Analyse Your Hand

Once you pick up a new card, take a moment to arrange your 14 cards. Figure out which groups are complete and what you still need to finish the rest.

Discard a Card

Discard your least useful card to the open deck. Stay alert – the card you throw away could be exactly what your opponent needs.

Next Player's Turn

Turns move clockwise. Players take turns drawing and discarding one card at a time.

Declare
